- The texture has changed

In general, Eminence Organics products are the most fresh in the first 6 to 12 months from the time of purchase, when stored correctly, and only if the retailer you are ordering from keeps their products stored correctly and turning over quickly – meaning the products aren’t sitting around for ages.
Not all stores – online and retail shops – selling Eminence Organic Skin Care products take sufficient measures to ensure the freshness of their products, which could put your skin’s health at risk. That is why it matters to only buy from a reputable retailer.
Shop with reputable retailers
We’ve noticed an increase in the number of Eminence Organics products being sold on resale sites, including Amazon and Walmart. In these situations it is nearly impossible to know if the reseller has treated the products with care, and how long the products have been in their possession before reaching you.
A quick glance though reviews on reseller sites reveals people receiving opened products, old expired products and incorrect products.

How to store your skincare products properly
Stay away from sunlight & steam
Sunlight can accelerate the aging process of a skincare product by heating it up which breaks down active ingredients. It’s best to store the majority of your products inside cabinets and drawers. But if your bathroom gets particularly hot and steamy while you bathe, you may want to reconsider keeping your products in your bathroom at all, since the cabinets won’t protect the products from the heat produced by the shower.
Keep it cool
Cooler temperatures can extend the shelf life of some skincare products, especially those with retinol or vitamin C. It’s not necessary to store your entire skincare routine in your fridge, but if you find your bathroom gets a little too warm or your products are turning sooner than they should, dedicating a shelf in your refrigerator for skincare products might be a good idea! The bonus to skincare stored in the fridge – especially during the summer – you get a refreshing cooling sensation when you apply your creams and serums! It’s nice for eye products too for extra de-puffing effects.
But not too cool
Extremely cold temperatures can be harmful to your skincare products too. Any emulsion like a lotion, cream or concentrate can freeze if they become too cold and will separate when thawed. Keep skincare products away from window sills in the winter, if you live somewhere especially cold.
